Jack Abramoff, the powerhouse Washington lobbyist who admitted running a wide-ranging corruption scheme that ensnared lawmakers, Capitol Hill aides and government officials, yesterday received a reduced sentence of four years in prison because of his cooperation with federal investigators.

Matt Apuzzo's report on Abramoff

Why wasn't Abramoffs appearance at the RNC reported the night before he was sentenced. He certainly didn't look remorseful sucking on a giant "Cuban?" cigar. Hobnobbing with the same old crowd.

Also his help with enforcement got him a lighter sentence. Who is being indicted from his list of fellow crooks? And why isn't it reported he is a vic of Washington and said to the Judge he was being compared to Bin Laden and he is mentally distressed. I believe he is mentally ill and all the crooks at some time should be held accountable and sent to real prisons. Sick people who are un American.

A true Patriot is a citizen who keeps an eye on government and fights to rid America of these corrupt traitors.
